How a cycle works
?
What is a cash-secured put?You agree to buy 100 shares of a stock at a lower price (the strike) by Friday, and you're paid a fee (the premium) up front. You set the cash aside in case you have to buy. If the stock stays above the strike, you keep the fee and the cash is free again. The wheel in 5 minutes
?
Can I change the cycle?Yes. Weekly is what we recommend and what the public record grades. In Settings you can pick another start day or a longer cycle, such as two weeks. Picks then use options that expire at the end of your cycle. Cycles in the guide

We recommend a weekly cycle: start Monday, done Friday. You can change your cycle's start day or length in Settings.

You monitor
Nothing to do most weeks. Your cash stays set aside, live bids refresh, and if a stock gets close to your strike you see it flagged with the roll already priced.

Options expire. You get the recap: what you kept, what was assigned, what to do next.

Most cycles: it expires. You keep the $98, the $7,400 you set aside is free again, and the next cycle starts. $98 ÷ $7,400 = 1.32% in five days.
—
Some cycles: you're assigned. You buy 100 AFRM at $74, really $73.02 after the premium, then get paid to sell calls on it until it's sold. That's the wheel

Small cycles add up

If each cycle's premium goes back into the cash you sell puts against, the next cycle earns on a bigger base. Here's $100,000 after 52 weekly cycles.
